“We are expecting a tough match against an exceptionally good opponent. Their current position on the table should not deceive us. TSC has clearly defined playing principles, and we will be ready to respond to all of it. I expect us to return with a positive result from Bačka Topola,” said Đurović.
Miljan Đurović analyzed the current situation of TSC, highlighting the impact of the coaching change and the challenges the team has faced.
“The coaching change right before the start of the season and the hiring of a coach with a different profile than the previous one certainly left a mark on the team. Additionally, some players who were expected to leave the team at the last moment did not go, and probably at the very start of the season, they were not mentally present where they are now.
They were also followed by those demanding European matches, and they found themselves in the situation they are in now. Now they have changed the coach to someone more similar to the first one, and we can already see some improvement in their game,” said Đurović.
Đurović added that “it’s a matter of time when TSC will overcome their results crisis,” but he hopes it will happen after tomorrow’s match.
He also pointed out the similarities between TSC’s playing style and Čukarički’s, emphasizing the additional defensive rotations that make TSC a more challenging opponent.
“TSC is similar in terms of game organization to Čukarički, perhaps slightly different in defensive play. However, they have some additional rotations that make them a bit more demanding compared to Čukarički. We have prepared for all aspects of their game and will take the field ready,” said Đurović.
The Blues’ number nine, Aleksandar Mesarović, rated TSC as a quality team while emphasizing the importance of repeating the good performance from the previous match to secure a victory.
“TSC is a serious team with many quality players, but they are currently in a slump. We played a good match against Čukarički. If we repeat the performance from the first half, with a few adjustments, I believe we can return with three points,” said Mesarović.
