Novi Pazar can breathe a sigh of relief – the team that secured third place in the recently concluded Serbian SuperLiga season will officially make its debut on the international stage.
The Novi Pazar footballers will participate in the Europa Conference League qualifiers, starting from the second round. The team, led from the bench by Vladimir Gaćinović, will be among the unseeded teams in the draw scheduled for June 18 in Nyon.
Novi Pazar submitted extensive documentation to the UEFA licensing commission and met all necessary requirements under the strict regulations of the European football association.
The Novi Pazar team engaged a strong legal team and received full support from the Football Association of Serbia throughout the process.
It won’t be easy in the second qualifying round, as Novi Pazar will be among the unseeded teams and will need some luck in the draw.
