Rodney Antwi scored for Novi Pazar in the 89th minute, following a corner and an assist from Adem Ljajić, taking his season tally to six goals.
Čukarički had the opportunity to secure an earlier victory, but Bojica Nikčević, formerly of Novi Pazar, missed a penalty in the 84th minute and failed to capitalize on a clear-cut chance a minute later.
The match was played at the Voždovac Stadium.
Following this round, the Novi Pazar squad are level on eighth place with Radnički Niš, both having 29 points, while Čukarički sit seventh in the table with three points more.
In the next round, Novi Pazar will host TSC, while Čukarički travel to Jedinstvo from Ub.
