Coach Sivić emphasized the importance of the upcoming match, highlighting that this is an opportunity to confirm his team’s good form.
“We have another challenging match ahead of us. This is a chance to round off what we’ve achieved so far and confirm that we’re in good form. We owe it to our fans and ourselves to play a good game and achieve a result that would place us where we deserve,” said Sivić.
He also emphasized the opponent’s quality but also the confidence his team currently has.
“Napredak has an excellent team, but we are in great momentum and full of confidence. I see our advantage in our current surge and their pressure,” said the head coach of the Novi Pazar team.
Sivić also reflected on the fans’ welcome after the victory over Vojvodina, when supporters greeted them in front of the stadium at two in the morning.
“That’s a fantastic feeling, another memory that is never forgotten. I can only imagine what it will be like when we enter Europe,” said Sivić.
Player Ognjen Mršić added that the team wants to prove their recent successes are not accidental.
“It’s time to show that this isn’t a coincidence. I was at Napredak for four years—I know how they think. They see some salvation in us, but I believe everything is in our hands,” said Mršić.
The match between Napredak and Novi Pazar will be played on Sunday, October 6, at 2 PM at the “Mladost” Stadium in Kruševac.
