Ziljkić (28) spent five months in Novi Pazar, scoring one goal and providing one assist in 14 competitive matches.
He signed a contract with the Novi Pazar squad until the end of the 2024/25 season in September, but will most likely continue his career at Rabotnički from Skopje.
Eight rounds before the end of the regular season, Novi Pazar also terminated their cooperation with coach Tomislav Sivić.
“The coaching position has become vacant in Sivić’s hometown, so we came to his aid. We thank him for everything he has done for us so far. He arrived when we were second to last in the standings, and now the situation is much better. Sivić led the team to the quarterfinals of the Serbian Cup and we are still in contention for a trophy on that front. Everything was perfectly correct between both sides,” they said in the sports sector of the Novi Pazar team.
The club in Novi Pazar has announced that they will appoint a new head coach by the end of today or at the latest tomorrow.
Novi Pazar currently sits in 10th place in the standings and will face Čukarica from Belgrade away in the next round.
